Indoor Venue Directions & Parking

Using the Indoor Venue
1.       Bring trainers to wear inside. Wear different shoes/ wellies to walk to the venue.  
2.       When not in use, the door must be kept shut.
3.       Please do not let your dog toilet inside the venue
.4.       If you or your dog are new to the AstroTurf surface, take time to acclimatise. Start with flatwork, and when it comes to jump work for your dog – begin with a low height.
5.       We expect you and your dog to be warmed up /cooled down for training.
6.       Harsh handling of your dog is not permitted at any time.
7.       To attend group lessons, your dog must be accustomed to socialising with other humans and dogs happily and without any history of aggression.
8.       Bitches in season can attend private lessons if content to train. For group lessons, please check with us prior to attendance.
9.       If your dog is ill, use common sense about whether to come to training or not. If in any doubt, consult your vet. If your dog is suffering from anything that is, or may be, contagious let us know and do not attend training.
10.   Your safety, the safety of your dog, and the behaviour of your dog is your responsibility at all times at the venue. By training with us, you agree.

As the venue is located on a working farm…
1.       Keep your dogs on a lead outside the venue. You may meet livestock or the farm dogs.
2.       Drive slowly and give way to animals and farm vehicles.
3.       Please pick up after your dog.


Sat Navs & Directions
The venue is close to Wellington in Somerset, a short drive from the M5. The venue address is Brook Farm, Westford, Wellington, Somerset, TA21 0EB. If using a sat nav, please ensure your sat nav brings you to the venue from the Rockwell Green direction. Refer to your route into the venue using the map marked on the below image.

Coming from the North

1.       Exit the M5 at junction 26 – Wellington junction
2.       As you exit the motorway, at the roundabout take the exit signposted Wellington – A38
3.       At the next roundabout (beside the Skylark pub & Travelodge) take the 1st exit  signposted Wellington/ Exeter/ Rockwell Green – A38
4.       At the next roundabout, beside the Budgens petrol station, continue straight over (still following signs for A38)
5.       Continue along the A38 for several miles until you reach Perry Elm roundabout
6.       At  Perry Elm roundabout, take the 3rd exit, signposted for Wellington and Rockwell Green
7.       Continue for around half a mile, until you reach a crossroads with a set of traffic lights
8.       Turn left at the traffic lights (signposted for Westford, Payton, Holywell Lake) on to Popes Lane
9.       Continue along the lane through a housing estate and over a small, humpbacked railway bridge
10.    Immediately after crossing the railway bridge, follow the road to the left, signposted for Westford, Payton, Holywell Lake
11.    A few hundred metres later, take the small left turn where a sign on the wall reads Rackfield
12.    Continue along the narrow road, following it around to the left whenever it forks
13.    You are now driving along a single track road with hedges on either side. Slow down, and watch out for the dip in the road (the wheelwash) just before you reach the farm buildings
14.    Immediately after the wheelwash, turn left down the farm track to the parking
15.    Park and follow the map below
16.    For your training, head over to the venue on foot following the route marked on the below image –which begins by taking you over a bridge above a stream

Coming from the South

1.       Exit the M5 at junction 27 – Tiverton junction
2.       As you exit the motorway, at the roundabout take the exit signposted Wellington – A38
3.       Continue following the A38 in the direction of Wellington for around 7 miles
4.       Look out for the Beambridge Inn on your right hand side
5.       At Perry Elm roundabout shortly after the Beambridge Inn, take the 1st exit signposted for Wellington and Rockwell Green
6.       Continue for around half a mile, until you reach a crossroads with a set of traffic lights
7.       Turn left at the traffic lights (signposted for Westford, Payton, Holywell Lake) on to Popes Lane
8.       Continue along the lane through a housing estate and over a small humpbacked railway bridge
