I held a handling session on the Friday before ACTS, and then I had a bit of a break at the weekend. On the Saturday I did a few runs with Hayly (one of which she won) but none with Ivy, and then on Sunday I went to the beach with my dogs most of the day and we just chilled out.
It was brilliant on the Saturday to take a day to really focus on watching some of the people I have trained running. I tried to be at quite a few course walkings and to watch as many runs as I could too. Lots of people picked up rosettes, not least Fiona with Rio, Liz with Leo, Jackie with Woody, Jeri with Burns, Lisa with Max and Kodie and... oh I'm sure I've forgotten some people... text me if I have please!
But I was really impressed by lots of non-rosetted runs too... I saw some consistency and some enthusiasm and some held contacts and just some really good handling and quick rewarding at the end of runs, and some dogs enjoying themselves. It's really fun to wonder where some of you will get to in agility in the future.

I am looking forward to training up near Inverness on Thursday. Can't believe I'm going to be going even further North... I am always driving south!
ACTS, and Elgin
